WEATHER UPDATE

The country is witnessing moderate to light rainfall in many parts of the country at present.

The new developed weather pattern invited wet weather since yesterday morning as a result of partial influence of the westerly low pressure system and local winds in Nepal.

According to the Weather Forecasting Division of the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, light snowfall is taking place at one or two places of the high hilly and mountainous region of Koshi Province.

Department’s meteorologist Sanjeev Adhikari said the current weather pattern is likely to remain for the next few days.
