CIB has written to the Speaker, Devraj Ghimire, informing him that an investigation is underway into Nepali Congress lawmaker Binod Chaudhary

The Central Investigation Bureau CIB has written to the Speaker, Devraj Ghimire, informing him that an investigation is underway into Nepali Congress lawmaker Binod Chaudhary for allegedly privatizing land belonging to the Bansbari Shoe Factory.

The Bureau wrote a letter to the House Speaker tday, informing about the same.

The CIB registered a letter at the Parliament Secretariat to inform Speaker Ghimire about the investigation against lawmaker Chaudhary for his alleged involvement in the land embezzlement case.

Earlier, the bureau had held Chaudhary’s brother Chairman and Managing Director of CG Holdings Arun Chaudhary for interrogation and investigation.

He was alleged of illegally appropriating the 10-ropani land belonging to Bansbari Leather and Shoe Factory.
