NC urges PM Dahal to pave way for formation of new government

Kathmandu- The Nepali Congress has urged Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ to pave the way for the formation of new government.

A meeting of the NC Work Execution Committee held at the residence of party President, Sher Bahadur Deuba, at Budhanilkantha, today took the decision to this effect, said NC Spokesperson Dr Prakash Sharan Mahat. Sharing the decision of the meeting, he mentioned that it would be appropriate for PM Dahal to pave the way for constituting new government after two largest parties in the federal parliament.

Nepali Congress and CPN (UML) – forged consensus to form a new government. An agreement was reached between the CPN (UML) and NC on Monday to form a government of national consensus. He further said there would be support of other parties in the new power equation.
